Hybrid solar power system is broadly used as emergency power supply, unstable grid areas, medical labs, security system etc. It is a combination of On-Grid and Off-Grid technologies. A hybrid system is a dynamic system that exhibits both continuous and discrete dynamic behaviour – a system that can both flow (described by a differential equation) and jump (described by a state machine or automaton).

The power generated by solar power plant is stored in a storage system through hybrid grid inverter. After that the storage power is used by the consumer when required. A hybrid inverter can use multiple source of power as per pre define priority to charge the storage.
